  • For the new subscribers, thanks for subscribing. Expect some typos and many ideas. Here is a List of analysis, with many free articles! And if you like it, please share my letter.

  • I will now spend less time searching new companies, (I did a lot of A to Z stock lists), and more time analysing them, so I will push my premium content to 10 write ups a year.

  • I subscribed to a Polish paid research service to get more understanding of this market, get more ideas about hidden champions in Poland. The name is eastvalueresearch.com. (not a sponsored link here). I am trying to know this market more and to discover tips or things to avoid there.

  • Japan Lifeline, a medical devices company that I wrote up, published a nice slide deck about their challenges and opportunities. So far the thesis has not worked out, and it’s not great, but no downside risk as also materialised. Just a boring stagnation with dividends being paid.

  • Poulaillon, the French bakery chain, is sheltered from energy price shocks. Article and results: Ebitda is maintained despite record inflation costs, and Q4 2022 revenues are growing again 22% YoY. Water segment costs should reduce in the future and they should recover margins but even if not, ebitda is massive compared to capitalisation. Links in French

  • Newlat foods (Italy), with good 2022 revenues. Link

Here I manually selected stocks for quality or hidden champions characteristics and track movements and PE from Google Finance or Reuters for Japan. Then, they can enter my work deck.

This month I wanted to show a the filter for ”Blue chip” filter in DMs. Not the fastest growers but solid cheap cash flows in this list.

I Like Catalana Occidente, a local champion. I am curious if Fresenius can turn the ship but I have no opinion. Nintendo is interesting and transforming the business.
